An outlet for music lovers everywhere.
Social Casualty strives to share all things music industry related with fans all around the world. From photographing concerts to album reviews, we want to cover it all.
Founded in 2022 by friends Lilli and Britney, the pair wanted to create a safe place for females in the music industry to proudly share their work. The passion the pair had for concert photography and journalism is what helped motivate the pair to break barriers in the music industry and help other aspiring fans reach their goals.

FOUNDER - Head of Journalism
Hey there! My name is Britney (or Brit for short) and I am a DFW based journalist and live music photographer. While my coverage focuses Asian Artists, many of my dream artists to cover span across all genres!
When I’m not behind the lens or computer screen, you can probably find me dancing or playing video games!
It has always been a dream of mine to stay involved as much as I can within the music industry, and now I get to do that with some of the coolest people I have ever met. Social Casualty has opened many opportunities for me, and I hope to continue to do the same for others (with the help of my amazing co-founder) <3

Hey! I’m Kayla and I’m a 26 year old photographer/videographer from California. I’ve always been passionate about music, shows/concerts, and photography, so getting into live music photography came naturally. Some of my favorite genres to shoot are pop punk, alternative, and metal because the energy in the crowds is so fun and chaotic in the best way. Being able to shoot artists and bands with Social Casualty has been such a great experience, and it honestly just makes me love the industry even more every time. I’m excited to continue growing in this space and connect with people who share the same passion.

-
Marion Grnc
Photographer
I’m Marion, 30, just moved to Melbourne. I work in event coordination, but what I'm really obsessed with is photography! For as long as I can remember, I’ve never really gone anywhere without a camera. I started with travel and wildlife but then I got a super cute pup and he took over as my favourite subject.
Outside of dog time, I’m almost always around live music; so when I moved to Melbourne, I knew it would be the perfect place to dive into concert photography, with literally 10 different gigs happening each night around the city (turns out musicians move just as unpredictably as animals...just with better lighting!).
I’ve always felt super safe behind my camera, like it gives me a sense of purpose, so being a photographer for Social Casualty, a women‑run music publication, is a huge honour !
