“It’s Going Down” — 2025 STAYC [STAY TUNED] Tour Live in Irving, TX

STAYC’s stop at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX felt like a night fans had been waiting a long time for. From the handmade signs fans were proudly carrying to their outfits they were wearing that night, all the SWITH (STAYC fandom name) were there to support the girls that night proudly.
I’d been to this venue before, but experiencing it this time as a photographer felt completely different — and I’m so glad that moment belonged to STAYC. The moment the lights dimmed and the opening beats of BEBE hit, the crowd’s excitement filled the room, especially after such an intense and edgy VCR introduction. The members stepped out in matching black and silver outfits — sparkly yet sleek — and the energy instantly shifted.
Formed under High Up Entertainment in 2020, STAYC — made up of Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J — have carved out a space of their own in K-pop with their signature “Teen Fresh” concept. Their music blends catchy pop-based hooks with strong vocals and sleek production, creating a sound that’s both youthful and bold. Seeing that reputation come to life on stage was everything I could have hoped for.
The girls effortlessly commanded the stage, seamlessly transitioning between mature, powerful performances and playful, cutesy moments that showed off their versatility. Sumin’s calm leadership and smooth vocals anchored the group, Sieun’s voice soared through every song, and Isa’s rich tone added warmth and depth. Seeun’s bright presence kept the energy alive, Yoon’s effortless high notes stunned the crowd, and J’s magnetic charisma tied everything together.
Their vocals were so clean and steady that it honestly felt like they could’ve recorded their albums live at that concert — everything was that on point. Every harmony landed perfectly, every ad-lib hit with precision, and the energy between them never wavered. It was one of those performances where you realize how much of their talent goes beyond what you hear in the studio.
This show was proof of how much STAYC have grown and how truly talented they are. Everything — from their vocals to their chemistry — was flawless. I am still hoping for some live recordings from the tour, given how flawless they were that night.
