KATSEYE get WILD with new single single “ANIMAL”

The KATSEYE girls take on many roles in the music video for their new single “ANIMAL”. The song, written by Ed Sheeran, dropped on Friday along with a music video, starring actress Demi Moore.
Daniela, Yoonchae, Lara, Megan, and Sophia stun individually and as a whole. The tune has coordinated dance moves, per usual, but this time, things are shifted around. The girl group swaps between a variety of disguises, trying on multiple outfits and hairstyles.
The group embraces their wild side, showing that moving like an animal can be seen as being bold and confident, opposed to negative connotations, such as being seen as out-of-line. The first verse sings, “off the scale that goes from hot to crazy, embracing going out of the box.
In the music video, KATSEYE star as themselves amongst a variety of personas. During one transformation, the girls turn into the boy version of themselves and judge their own performance and dance skills in the studio; They can be seen eating Jolibee chicken, a brand the group has partnered with in the past.
KATSEYE demonstrates how to be a force to be reckoned with, on and off the dance floor.
The girls show off their vocal abilities, specifically Lara, showing off her range. The first verse sings, “take it up a notch, you’re so sophisticated,” with the lyrics taking a different spin on sophistication, differing from their previous release, "PINKY UP". Demi Moore makes a cameo, helping the girls change up their look. The scene references The Devil Wears Prada. The girls scurry between outfits and turn to Moore for approval. “Alright, let’s get wild,” she says, referencing their upcoming EP.
The song and video bring a vibe that is not foreign to KATSEYE: beautiful chaos.
EYEKONS have a lot to look forward to in the next few months. KATSEYE will continue to “move like an animal” with their stacked schedule ahead. The girls will embark on their WILDWORLD Tour, beginning in September. Their official documentary-style movie “KATSEYE: Wild Hearts” premieres in theaters this August.
