New Found Glory has been a staple in the punk and rock music scene since the band was created in 1997. They released their first album two years later, in 1999. New Found Glory released their fourth album, Catalyst, in 2004, which was a big hit. They performed many shows, had many festival appearances, and had notable interviews, including Music Television and Jimmy Kimmel Live. This pop punk album features 14 songs with a total length of 43 minutes and 47 seconds.

The album is such a hit still to this day that the band is now touring with it again on the Catalyst 20 Years Later tour. This current tour started on October 11th and will end on October 23rd. It is making ten stops on this leg of the tour, including stops in Texas, Arizona, California, Las Vegas, Utah, and Colorado. On October 17th, New Found Glory played at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California.

The show started with opener Sincere Engineer, whose set was super entertaining and did a great job getting the crowd excited. Shortly after their performance, New Found Glory took the stage for a 1 hour and 20 minute set, which included a full playthrough of their album Catalyst. Fans were super into the show, singing along to all of their favorite songs. The liveliness of the set gave the venue a great energy. Following the album, the show continued on with an eight song encore. It features two Disney covers, Part of Your World by Alan Menken and Let It Go by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, along with some fan favorites from other albums. Some of the songs are Truck Stop Blues, Hit or Miss, and My Friends Over You. The band got into character when singing the Disney songs, some even dressing up by wearing a wig. They made the performance very fun and energetic.

This show brought together people of all ages with a combination of long term fans as well as younger fans who discovered their music later. With a combination of songs from many different eras, this made it a great show for everyone to enjoy. The set and overall visuals also gave the show great character. There was a lot to look at and a lot going on in a very tasteful way. The lighting throughout the show also gave the performance another dimension and visual interest.
