Where do I even begin? This concert was everything I could have hoped for and more. The energy, the outfits, the performances—everything was on another level.

The show began with a strong and energetic start, opening with “My Heart Skip a Beat”, a track that immediately set the tone for the night. The girls stepped out in coordinated, school-inspired outfits—white dress shirts, ties, skirts, and black pants. This clean, polished look, complemented by individual touches in their hairstyles, gave off a youthful and fresh energy, perfectly matched with the upbeat track.

Following the high energy of “My Heart Skip a Beat,” the group transitioned seamlessly into “Pretty Psycho,” a song that showcased their ability to blend edginess with powerful vocals. The girls' performance was intense, full of emotion, and delivered with precision. The song’s darker undertones were amplified by the group's fierce stage presence, and the crowd was fully engaged, captivated by the contrasting sides of Purple Kiss’s artistry.

From there, the energy continued to rise as they moved into “BBB”, another fan favorite. With its punchy beats and catchy hook, the song had Plory (Purple Kiss fans) hyped, singing along and dancing in unison with the group. The transitions between these high-energy tracks were smooth, and it was clear that the group had carefully curated the setlist to keep the momentum going while still allowing for moments of deeper emotional connection with fan favorites.

One of the standout features of this show was the unit stages, which allowed for the girls to showcase their vocal and performance range in smaller, more intimate settings. The audience was treated to three highly distinct performances during this section:

Goeun (left) and Ireh (right)

Ireh and Goeun kicked things off with an exceptional performance of “Standing Next to You” by Jungkook. The duo’s vocal chemistry was palpable, and the choreography, which mirrored the original, was executed with precision. Their seamless pairing made this cover a standout moment of the night. The girls truly stunned, and now because of this performance, I am unsure of my bias in Purple Kiss.

Next, Swan and Yuki took the stage for Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side.” Yuki, in particular, captivated the crowd with her rap segment, channeling Nicki Minaj’s original energy while delivering her own unique flair. The use of chairs as props added a dynamic visual element, enhancing the overall performance’s sultry and confident energy.

Finally, Dosie and Chaein performed “TAIL” by Sunmi, a pairing that proved to be a delightful surprise. Not only did their performance exude confidence, but their chemistry was undeniable. The choreography was bold and striking, perfectly suited to their dynamic presence. I had no idea what song they were going to perform, but when they hit the stage, it was like the song was written for them. They definitely delivered a captivating, high-energy performance that left a lasting impression.

While the unit stages were going on, the rest of the girls took the time to interact with fans, answering questions and drawing raffle winners for signed items. It was such a nice touch—very intimate and made the whole night feel personal.

After the unit stages, the group returned in their fierce “ON MY BIKE” outfits—grey studded jackets with fur accents paired with black boots. This look was bold and powerful, perfectly matching the fierce energy of the final part of the concert. The setlist moved into some of the group’s most beloved tracks, including “7HEAVEN”, “Sweet Juice”, and “ON MY BIKE”. These songs had the crowd fully immersed, singing along with every word. “7HEAVEN” had everyone chanting and dancing, while “Sweet Juice” had fans on the edge of their seat watching the stunning performance. “ON MY BIKE” closed the set with an explosion of energy, and the girls’ stage presence was undeniable as they danced and sang with intensity.

The night ended with a heartfelt encore, where the girls returned in tour merchandise, now becoming a staple in the K-Pop community, some even wearing gifts from fans that had been given to them earlier in the evening. During “Sweet Nightmare”, the girls ventured into the crowd, further breaking the barrier between performer and fan. Many fans got interactions with the members, myself included. I feel very fortunate that Dosie came up to me and did a heart with me.

For anyone considering attending their future shows, I wholeheartedly recommend it. This was a concert experience that left me eagerly anticipating what will be next from the girls.
