The Summer School Tour Kicked Off On July 10th
by Holly Van Ness | July 21st , 2024
On July 10th, idobi Radio launched its debut festival in Cleveland, Ohio. The traveling lineup, aptly named the Summer School Tour, spotlights emerging pop-punk artists like Scene Queen, Stand Atlantic, Magnolia Park, The Home Team, Honey Revenge, and Letdown. Unfolding across 28 dates throughout the United States, the festival is opting to use just one stage to minimize the chaos of overlapping set times.
Founded by Eric Tobin of Hopeless Records, Michael Kaminsky of KMGMT, and Kevin Lyman of Warped Tour, the Summer School Tour aims to fill the void left by the beloved Warped Tour. The festival hopes to catapult new artists into the alternative music scene and give them the exposure they deserve.
Beyond its stellar lineup and music-packed days, the festival has partnered with ONErpm and Offstep to offer affordable ticket options and is working with Hot Topic for exclusive merchandise and marketing opportunities. Behind-the-scenes operations are being managed by Thriller Records, Big Loud Rock, Epitaph Records, Hopeless Records, and SJC to ensure a seamless tour experience for both artists and fans.
Tickets are still available via various online retailers, and as fans eagerly await their local shows, they can dive into idobi Radio's new Study Hall podcast. This summer special features exclusive interviews with every artist on the tour, providing an intimate look into their music and journey.
