On Friday, May 2nd 2025, Virginia Beach based Turnover, supported by Tigers Jaw and Balance and Composure, brought Peripheral Vision to the sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

Beginning on April 27, 2025 for the first time ever, Turnover performed Peripheral Vision in full to commemorate the album’s ten year anniversary, along with the release of Peripheral Vision (10 Year Anniversary Deluxe Edition)

Beginning the night, Scranton, Pennsylvania based Tigers Jaw took the stage, warmly welcomed by thousands of fans ready to celebrate their favorite pop-punk and indie classics. Fan favorites such as “Plane Vs. Tank Vs. Submarine”, “June”, and “Hum” brought an electric energy to the crowd, setting the scene for what was to be an unforgettable night. Ben Walsh, lead vocals and guitar, along with Brianna Collins on the keys, Teddy Roberts on drums, Colin Gorman on bass, and Mark Lebiecki on guitar, delivered exceptional sound and vibes.

Following Tigers Jaw’s magnetic performance, Doylestown Pennsylvania established Balance and Composure took to the stage, building upon the energy and anticipation buzzing within the crowd. Jon Simmons, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, provided Red Rocks with a dually striking performance - delivering songs with profound intensity and moving emotion.

As the sun set on Morrison and stars lit up the Amphitheatre, the beginning of their biggest show to date began, bringing the entirety of ten thousand fans to their feet. Dozens of colors covered the stage, perfectly matching Turnovers dream pop and indie rock roots.

From “Cutting My Fingers Off”, to “New Scream”, and “Humming”, songs that formed the cult following of Peripheral Vision crafted a mystical feeling amongst the crowd. Songs from younger days, songs that grew up so many in attendance, bringing about sentimental excitement.

The excitement from Turnover was undeniable. Frontman Austin Getz showered the crowd with an abundance of thanks and happiness between several songs, making sure that everyone knew that if it weren’t for them, their biggest show wouldn’t have been possible. Getz also thanked their record label, Run For Cover Records, their managers and touring managers, and everyone who has believed in them and their music for so many years. It was a touching tribute to those who saw Turnover’s takeover of Red Rocks Amphitheatre come to fruition.

Following the band’s completion of Peripheral Vision, it was a treat to hear some songs from the album’s deluxe version, such as “Humblest Pleasures” and even a track from Good Nature, “Supernatural”, dedicated to Getz’s wife and when falling in love with her. These tracks fully kept the momentum going through the end of the night, a night that most would agree they did not want to end.

Turnover’s inaugural performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre was positively an out-of-body experience. The raw emotion of Peripheral Vision paired with nostalgic bliss made the night more than just a show: it was like a dream you’re not ready to wake up from.
