Black Veil Brides Vindicatour II: A Night of Music, Mayhem, and Memories at The Factory

The second leg of Black Veil Brides Vindicatour made a long awaited stop at The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri on September 4th, 2026. The tour that included Holy Wars, Archers, and Caskets had a line starting at the venue when I arrived, and the heat was not kind. Here in Missouri, we had been dealing with 100 degree weather for almost two weeks, so seeing everyone standing outside under the blazing sun showed just how committed fans were to this show. The venue took great measures to make sure people outside had water and fans to cool off with.

Once inside, the merch tables were already set up and ready to go, with Black Veil Brides’ merch line already stretching into the main venue. Of course, merch was my first stop as always. Archers and Caskets also had some really unique signed merchandise, including signed cymbals (which I did purchase), drum heads and even a mirror etched by one of Caskets’ members who also works as a tattoo artist. The coolest part? The signatures and etching had been done right before the show making it the first time the band members had etched glass.

Female fronted from Los Angeles, California, Holy Wars opened the night with a short but heavy set. They set the tone for what was to come. The alternative rock band opened with their song “Ceremony” which was one of my favorites from hearing them for the first time. Kat Leon was on fire the whole time she was on stage, she was nothing but energy throughout the whole set.

They riled up the venue to mosh on their last two songs which included “Shadowwalker” one of their newest releases on their album Shadow Work/ Light Work. The lead singer would make another appearance later in the night when Kat Leon joined Archers onstage for “Perfect Strangers”.

Archers came out next and immediately brought more energy into the room. A little backstory on Archers is that I saw them last year in Munich, Germany at a small venue called Strom that only held up to 500 people so seeing them make such progress as a band to be on such a headlining tour is amazing. Their set moved between heavier and aggressive moments to more melodic sections, with songs like “Made for Love”, “Drag Me Out”, and "Get Paid” keeping the crowd moving and excited.

The biggest surprise came at the end of their set when they brought out the female vocalist from Holy Wars to join them on stage to help perform “Perfect Strangers”. It was a great way to bring the opening acts together instead of keeping the performance completely separate. By the end Archers’ drummer and lead singer were throwing drum sticks and the setlist into the crowd, even turning the setlist into a paper airplane before sending it out into the crowd of fans.

As more people started filling into the venue, Caskets came on stage and the room immediately felt different. They opened with “Guiding Light” then moved into “Hate Me” which brought a more confrontational energy. The crowd continued to grow throughout the set eventually turning the floor into one of the liveliest parts of the room. A mosh pit even started, although it was quickly turned careful when a couple of younger kids found themselves joining in on the festivities. By the time Caskets reached the end of their set with “Glass Heart”, the emotion and physical energy of the set had already taken over the room. I felt that their last song really brought vulnerability to the band's heavier sound. The band's screams were absolutely insane live. They had the kind of intensity that makes you look towards the stage just to figure out how someone can produce that sound. The guitarists were constantly moving around the stage, which made them fun to photograph. Somehow they managed to keep playing while barely standing still for an entire song. Caskets ended their set on a high tossing picks into the crowds while a member of the stage crew handed out the setlist.

By the time Black Veil Brides took the stage, The Factory was packed and the energy in the room was already at a high. The show opened up with an organ intro "Invocation To The Muse” which was really cool to see up close with the random rays of lights to the notes. When “Bleeders” came on the crowd was immediately giving everything they had, with hands raised throughout the room as red and white lights filled the venue. “Hallelujah” kept that energy going before Andy took some time to interact with the crowd. He joked about how everyone seemed to have a birthday whenever a concert came around, eventually wishing “happy birthday to all the liars in the crowd” which gave everyone a good laugh. He also shared a story about being recognized on a Frontier Airlines flight by a flight attendant who thought he was no other than… Timothee Chalamet. Those moments between songs gave the show a lighter side and showed how comfortable Andy was entertaining the crowd even when the band wasn’t playing.

And then came Taylor's story.

Andy brought a fan named Taylor on stage and gave her the opportunity to tell the crowd about her VIP experience. What was supposed to be a night shared with her best friend and boyfriend (brother and sister) took a very unexpected turn when she discovered the two together, together. To make the story even more unbelievable, upon walking into the situation and trying to flee she fell and broke her foot. The crowd was so invested in her story, and Taylor did an amazing job at narrating probably one of the worst days of her life that turned out better. She ended up with three VIP photos with the band, got to be on stage with Andy Biersack, and had a song dedicated to her!

After hearing Taylor’s story, Andy dedicated the next song “Vindicate” to her, making it one of the memorable transitions of the night. The show wasn’t all theatrics and heavy moments though. During “In The End” Andy brought out a bubble gun and sprayed bubbles into the crowd, turning an already raging crowd into something even more playful. At this point I have one simple request: petition to make Black Veil Brides bubble guns official merch. Because if fans can buy a T-shirt why shouldn’t they be able to recreate the bubble chaos at home?

By the end of the night, I had somehow managed to walk away with one of the more expensive pieces of concert merch I’ve ever bought; a signed Arches cymbal. But honestly, the story behind it made it worth it. Before leaving the merch guy actually went and grabbed the drummer, Grayson Mesarosh and we got to talk a bit about the band and hopefully seeing them again. I even got a picture with Grayson and the cymbal.

Between the music, the fans, the unexpected moments throughout the night and people I got to meet along the way, the show ended up being much more than just another live night of music at The Factory. If you haven't had the chance to see Black Veil Brides on tour you still have plenty of time! I highly suggest catching them on tour!
