Parachute Gives Fans Another Chance To Relive:The Way It Was

Parachute is back! You heard me correct Parachute is back for the 15th anniversary of The Way It Was. This was one of the second albums produced by the American Pop rock band in 2011 with Will Anderson as the lead vocals, guitar and keyboard. Parachute came a long way on their rise to fame they started as a small formed high school band, then in college was where their guitarist joined along and they built their local following and from there released an independent EP One Small Step. The way it was released in 2011 was some of their peak chart ratings; it reached number one on iTunes rock charts and the number two overall for the album sales chart. Parachute tour alongside notable performers, such as The Fray and Gavin DeGraw. Now, if you are like me, I first listened to parachute around the age of 11 and it was one of the most amazing bands that I’ve ever heard of. My introduction to Parachute was Losing Sleep, their album released in 2009. The song The Mess I Made was on repeat. Then listening to the album The Way It Was solidified my love for the band even more was Kiss Me Slowly a notable fan favorite song on the album showcasing a more romantic ballad type of song. After years away, Parachute is giving fans a chance to relive the song that defined a generation of listeners.
With the 15th anniversary tour coming up, they also released a limited edition vinyl for pre-order. Now physical releases like this, especially of an album that had such momentum for the band is really important not only to them, but to the fans. It gives the fans a way to have a collectible format and piece of their history, especially longtime fans like myself. Not only are they coming with collectible vinyls they are also having seven stops on this tour with their Virginia, New York and California shows already selling out. While shows are selling out fast they have added a couple new shows. Parachute's return is a reminder that Music doesn’t lose this meeting with time. For many fans, their songs have been the soundtrack to very important moments of their life. For longtime fans and even new fans, these are not just concerts, they are a way to revisit the memories that are attached to music and remember the way it was.
