SONG REVIEW: Sarah Suarez- Front Row
by Kelsie Barlow | April 10th, 2026
Sarah Suarez released her debut single Front Row on March 6th, and it’s a strong start to her discography. The song blends a familiar alt-rock vibe with jazzy instrumentals and vocals. These two genres fused is something I’m not used to hearing, but Sarah blended them wonderfully. I love how the song started slower and built momentum with her emotion and intention. This song lyrically examines an all too familiar feeling of wanting something so badly, but being too afraid to reach for it.
As artists, it can be scary for many of us to reach our goals due to a variety of factors. Financial instability, failure, and disapproval from loved ones are all things that play into what makes it hard to really go for your dreams, but at the end of the day, the only person who can make it happen is you. “I’ll pay for the front row, but I can’t afford it. I’m fine with waiting in line for what ifs.” Using the metaphor of purchasing a ticket and going to see a show, Suarez captures the feeling of longing, dreaming, and self-sabotage by belting with her buttery voice. Songs like Front Row feel like they’re made by artists, for artists, and I think that relatability creates something special for listeners, especially other creatives. Front Row is currently the first and only song in Sarah’s discography, but she has stated that more music is on the way very soon. Her sound is and promises to be something unexpected, blended, and eclectic.
Sarah Suarez impressed with her dramatically delicious first single, and is sure to only go up from here. Follow Sarah on social platforms and Spotify to stay up to date with any new music happenings.
