If you’re a fan of metalcore that you can sing along to, high energy on stage, and all-around good vibes, If Not For Me is a band you want to keep your eye on. Having had the chance to see them 3 times in under a year, I can confidently say they’re doing something right, and it won’t be long before you’re hearing about them everywhere you look.

Their Story So Far:
Formed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, If Not For Me is a four-piece band created by veterans of the PA music scene: Patrick Glover (vocals), Hayden Calhoun (guitar), Zac Allen (bass), and Cody Frain (drums). Taking inspiration from other artists in the scene like Bring Me The Horizon, the band has constructed a unique blend of melodic vocals with a heavy rock contrast. The band previously teamed up with producers from the legendary Atrium Audio for their first album Eulogy, and more recently, their latest album Everything You Wanted celebrated its first birthday this past March. They’ve gained spots within Billboard charts, hitting #6 for Current Hard Rock Albums and ranking #21 on Top New Artists. Their hit single “Feel Me Now” has also been featured on Spotify’s Hard Rock Playlist and ranked #6 on SiriusXM Octane’s Big Uns Countdown.
What They’re Up To:
Things have really kicked off in the past year for the band, touring with Catch Your Breath, Set It Off, The Funeral Portrait, and Electric Callboy as opening support, as well as performing at August Burns Red’s “Christmas Burns Red” and Capulet Fest. They’re headed over to Europe and the UK for the first time this month, much to the excitement of international fans, supporting Make Them Suffer throughout 24 dates in April and May. After that, they’re kicking off on a 23-date run in the U.S. as one of 7 bands on the Summer School Tour. And if you’re headed to Louder Than Life Fest this year, you’re in luck, cause you can catch them there as well!
What To Listen To:
Asking me to pick just a few songs from them may be one of the hardest tasks I’ve ever done because I’m in full belief that they’re an artist you should just hit shuffle on their whole discography. If I really had to narrow it down to a few, I’d choose their latest single, “Say It To My Face,” the song that’s recently been on repeat for me, “I Don’t Want To Be Here,” as well as “Blameless,” “Bury Me,” and “No Thanks To You” for a quick crash course - but if you like their vibe I suggest you dig in even deeper.
